Udaipur exports marble — green, white and the carved handicraft work the region is known for. Polished stone is the least forgiving cargo there is: it is heavy, it chips at the edges, and a single scuff on a finished face writes off the slab. Foamtech manufactures the interleaving foam and edge protection that stops both, at our own extrusion plant in Rajasthan.
Most protective packaging is designed around shock. Stone barely needs shock protection — it needs surface and edge protection, under considerable static load, often for weeks in transit. That inverts the usual specification.
The region’s output runs from raw and processed mineral through to fine carved work and miniature craft — a wide range of value density, and a correspondingly wide range of packaging briefs.
Every line is extruded and converted at our own plant — nothing is bought in and rebadged.

We extrude at RIICO Bhiwadi in Alwar district and supply Udaipur as an intra-state Rajasthan consignment. Stone packaging is usually a specification problem before it is a logistics one — the right density and thickness for the load matters more than the lead time.
Tell us the density, thickness and volume you need — or the part you are protecting — and we will quote within 2 business hours.
Edge and corner protection does the work. EPE foam U-channel and L-angle profiles fit edges from 5mm to 100mm and absorb the impacts that chip corners, while foam corner blocks protect the most vulnerable points. Interleaving sheet between faces handles the abrasion side.
Closed-cell EPE foam is chemically inert and non-abrasive — it does not transfer colour, adhesive residue or surface texture onto polished stone. That is the reason it is preferred over rougher or adhesive-backed materials for finished faces.
It depends on the finish and the stacking load. Thin interleaving film from 0.85mm is often enough to stop face-to-face abrasion without adding bulk, while heavier protection uses thicker sheet. We specify thickness and density against your actual stacking pattern rather than defaulting to a standard.
Yes. Irregular carved pieces are exactly what in-house die-cutting is for — we engineer foam seating from a sample or drawings so the piece is supported at safe points rather than blocked with timber. Prototypes are typically ready in 48 hours.
Yes. Closed-cell EPE does not wick moisture, and we produce foil and HDPE laminated foam where an additional barrier is needed against condensation on long sea legs.
100 kg for EPE foam sheets and 50 kg for air bubble rolls. Foam profiles are quoted by size and volume, with a typical minimum of 500 pcs depending on the section.
