ISPM-15 governs solid wood packaging material moving across borders. Timber crating, battens and blocking must be heat-treated or fumigated and stamped, and consignments get held when the paperwork does not match. For an exporter shipping finished furniture, that is a recurring administrative risk on every container.

We manufacture at RIICO Bhiwadi in Alwar district and dispatch to Jodhpur as an intra-state consignment. For export packaging the design work matters more than the delivery leg — most of our Jodhpur work starts with a sample piece and a drawing rather than a stock order.

No. ISPM-15 applies to solid wood packaging material, which must be heat-treated or fumigated and stamped. Polymer foams such as EPE fall outside the requirement entirely — which is one of the main reasons furniture exporters move away from timber crating and blocking.
Typically a combination: EPE foam sheet wrapping the finished surfaces, foam U or L profiles protecting edges, corners and legs, and foam blocking as void fill in place of timber dunnage. We engineer the specific set from your product dimensions.
Yes. Closed-cell EPE foam is non-abrasive and does not wick moisture, so it does not mark polished wood, lacquer or painted metal the way rougher materials can. For long sea legs we can add foil or HDPE lamination as a moisture barrier.
