Machined, cast and forged parts are heavy, hard and expensive to remake. They rarely break in transit; they dent, chip at the edges, mark each other and pick up moisture. We supply high-density EPE separators, fitments, edge protection and barrier laminates that keep engineering parts apart, still and dry, from our plant in Bhiwadi.
| Part | Typical damage | What we use |
|---|---|---|
| Gears, shafts, bearings | Marks on machined and ground faces | Die-cut EPE separators |
| Valves, pumps, hydraulic parts | Damaged ports and threads | Fitments; EPE pouches |
| Castings and forgings | Chipped edges; parts knocking together | High-density EPE blocks and profiles |
| Fabricated and sheet-metal parts | Dents; scratched coatings | Laminated EPE sheet between layers |
| Export consignments | Long transit; humidity | Foil or HDPE moisture-barrier laminates |
EPE is closed-cell and does not soak up water, so it does not hold damp against a metal surface the way paper or cloth can. For long journeys and export, foil or HDPE laminated foam adds a moisture barrier. See export packaging.
High-density EPE, 25 to 35 kg/mΒ³, laminated to the thickness the part needs. We size it to the part's weight and shape.
EPE does not absorb water, so it will not hold moisture against metal. It is not a rust inhibitor; for long or humid journeys we recommend foil or HDPE laminated foam as a moisture barrier, alongside your usual corrosion protection.
Yes. We die-cut separators and fitments with a cavity for each part, so mixed parts stay apart in the same crate.
Yes. EPE U and L profiles fit edges from 5 to 100 mm and are cut to length.
